Chicagoland Music Fave, Mike Bruccoleri, to Set Sail with The Buckinghams for Concerts at Sea 2022 Cruise

Recently, The Buckinghams were invited to fill in an opening on one of their favorite cruises, the Concerts at Sea , coordinated by longtime fan favorite producer, Tammy Selee, for Harmon Travel. When invited, Carl and Nick were delighted to return to see longtime cruise fans and friends who make these journeys extra special. However, as it turns out, guitarist Dave Zane had a conflict during that week at sea and would not be able to join the group for this event. Fortunately, music professional and friend well known to The Buckinghams, Mike Bruccoleri , was available and will be joining The Buckinghams for this event. Many of you already know Mike from his tour days with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, or as the bass player for Sonny Geraci's band, The Outsiders, whose band Dave Zane also played with for five years. Mike is also longtime friends with Bruce Soboroff and Rocky Penn, so he’s no stranger to The Buckinghams or their music. In addition, Mike and

The Buckinghams Back Home in Westbury, NY at NYCB Theatre with Tommy James, Peter Noone, and Grass Roots

On Saturday, October, 19, 2013 The Buckinghams were pleased to return to Westbury, New York, to the NYCB Theatre, for the annual Hot Autumn Nights concert. This beautiful theatre-in-the-round welcomed many familiar faces this year as well as some great new friends. We shared the stage with our friends, Tommy James & The Shondells, Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone, and Grass Roots, with Mark Dawson, Dusty Hanvey, Larry Nelson, and Joe Dougherty. Thanks to a very talented photographer, music fan and Buckinghams' friend Sylvia Nemeth, we're able to share these photos with you here. NOTE: All photos are for viewing enjoyment but must be credited to Sylvia Nemeth and used with permission only. Write to thebuckinghamsconcertblog@gmail.com with questions. We had a great time with all our friends on stage. The theatre-in-the-round makes it possible for everyone to have "the best seat in the house" and it's fun to be with you.

Published: 1/28/2010 12:01 AM Sparked by Beatlemania, 1964 marked the start of the "British Invasion" on the American music scene, and prompted the formation of many stateside bands to meet the challenge. Prime examples of that period hit Waukegan's Genesee Theatre stage at 8 p.m. Friday for a "Salute to the '60s." The lineup includes British band Herman's Hermits with Peter Noone, The Grass Roots with Rob Gill, and The Buckinghams with Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortunato. Far from being classed as no

Post-Crescent Photographer Captures Sights from 60s Night at Waterfest, July 30, 2009

The web link below holds the key to some great memories of last night's concert in Oshkosh at the Leach Ampitheatre. The Britins opened the evening in full Beatles costume attire and hair-cut, followed by Herman's Hermits starring Barry Whitwam, and evening headliners, The Buckinghams, Chicago natives with the name that sounded British. The Union Jack up on stage was reminiscent of when the producers of the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour thought The Bucks were British and had that as decoration when the band performed on their show. At least in Oshkosh, everyone was British for the evening.
