The Buckinghams in Concert

In addition to performing with The Buckinghams, in the past few years, Carl Giammarese has enjoyed recording with other performers, which is much easier these days when most musicians have in-home studios. Especially during COVID did Carl find the long-distance projects rewarding and enjoyable, and his songs with Joey Molland, Lisa McClowery, and Dave Mikulskis were all well received. Carl’s latest collaboration is a distance duet with singer/songwriter Kiki Ebsen, on a Joni Mitchell classic: “Circle Game.” Kiki is a native of Los Angeles and longtime music veteran as keyboard player and singer for Grammy-winning and platinum-selling artists including Al Jarreau, Boz Scaggs, Tracy Chapman, Michael McDonald, Belinda Carlisle, Wilson Phillips, and for over a decade with Christopher Cross before the Yacht Rock tours began. On Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23, The Buckinghams are pleased to return for their fourth year of performing for fans of the best generation in music at the Belfry Theatre. As anyone who lives or vacations in the Lake Geneva area of Wisconsin knows, one of the best venues to enjoy the best days of summer, is the Belfry Theatre. It’s an historic and delightful theatre with perfect acoustics where every seat is “the best seat in the house.” Located at 3601 State Road 67 in Williams Bay, WI, it’s only a bit over an hour’s drive from Chicago to get there. The theatre has great acoustics and sometimes you’ll even find people dancing in the aisles as they go back to the best days sunshine pop music. Although Carl and Nick have been on the road for most of the month with The Happy Together Tour and going from town to town, these two dates include the full band, including the Buckinghorns, joining them. Hard to believe that Nick Fortuna was once quiet and shy, but that’s not been the case in a very long time. Our friends at The Belfry Theatre in Delavan, Wisconsin, livestreamed our shows for audiences who couldn’t get a ticket to this in-demand show recently. They were kind enough to share some special video of The Buckinghams' concert, which we now share with you. We are considering officially changing his name to Nick (Mr. Entertainment) Fortuna…not that he knows we are considering this but it just seems appropriate—the man can dance! Just about an hour’s drive from Chicago, this weekend you’ll have two chances to see The Buckinghams in concert at the historic Belfry Theatre, in the gorgeous Geneva Lakes area, October 1 and 2, 2021, starting at 7pm. The theatre is filled with comfortable seats, it’s cozy yet the perfect way to come together for an evening of amazing music. Arrive early and enjoy one of the great restaurants in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. This is the fourth time The Buckinghams will appear here, one of their favorite venues to play. Both Friday and Saturday Shows are almost sold out but as of this morning, for Friday, a choice few tickets remain, priced from $52 to $68.
