Legacy Recording Releases 1960s Songs by The Buckinghams, Available Now for Digital Download

we're reminded that Sony/Legacy Recording has included music from The Buckinghams in their current digital reissue project. Three albums from The Buckinghams' time with Columbia Records are now available for digital download. Those who find mp3s on Amazon can go there from this site (click on the Amazon mp3 ad logo); they're also available on iTunes. If you want digital remakes of some of your favorite songs on vinyl by The Buckinghams, it's a great chance to download some or all of them.

Legacy Recordings Launches Major Digital Reissue Initiative

Legacy Recordings, the world’s premier catalog music label, has opened its vaults to create the Legacy Digital Reissue initiative, making an incredible selection of classic albums and deep catalog rarities available for the first time in the digital realms.

Drawing from the vast resources of the Sony Music archives, spanning the entire history of commercial recordings, the ongoing Legacy Digital Reissue program offers music fans an opportunity to rediscover old favorites, experience forgotten musical rarities, and explore an incomparably rich variety of genres, artists and sounds from the last 125 years.

Legacy Digital releases are being made available through all major digital service providers.

The Buckinghams
The Chicago-based Buckinghams were an enormously popular and inescapable presence on American radio from 1965 to 1968 with a string of Top 10 hits including “Don’t You Care” (#6), “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy” (#5), “Hey Baby, They’re Playing Our Song” (#10) and 1967’s #1 signature breakout “Kind of a Drag.” Legacy is digitally releasing Time and Charges (1967), Portraits (1967) and In One Ear and Gone Tomorrow (1968), originally recorded by The Buckinghams for Columbia Records.
